| North Bergen man charged with November knife-point robbery surrenders: cops |
A North Bergen man accused of a knife-point robbery in November turned himself in to Hoboken police Sunday, authorities said.
Casey Collado, 27, was charged with robbery after surrendering at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Hoboken police Lt. Edgardo Cruz said. Collado was identified as the suspect roughly two weeks after the Nov. 3 incident, police said.
The victim, a Hoboken resident, told police on Nov. 3 that he was walking home when Collado approached him and pointed a knife in his face, Cruz said. Collado demanded the victim’s “stuff” and grabbed his backpack, Cruz said.
