| Officials ID woman fatally struck by light rail in Bayonne |
A 21-year-old has been identified as the woman who was fatally struck by a light rail train last week.
Alexis Perez, of Bayonne, was hit by the train shortly after 9 p.m. Friday near East 23rd Street, NJ Transit spokeswoman Nancy Snyder said.
The train, which was traveling south, had about 200 people on board at the time of the collision.
Perez was pronounced dead at the scene.
