| Allendale PD: Driver Shouted Death Threat Outside Northern Highlands HS |
“I will kill everyone!” a frustrated father of a student shouted as he pulled into the parking lot of Northern Highlands Regional High School in Allendale, making a gun gesture with his hands – and leading to his arrest, authorities said.
Another student told police he was stopped in traffic driving out of the lot Tuesday when a white Nissan pulled in and stopped next to a vehicle in front of his, Police Chief George Scherb said.
The Nissan driver “made a weapons gesture with his hands” while shouting at the other driver that he would “kill everyone,” Scherb said.
After identifying him, officers and detectives arrested the driver, 53-year-old Steven Schwartz, at his Hasbrouck Heights home.
