| East Rutherford issues $6.4 million tax refund to Federal Reserve |
The borough issued $6.735 million in refunding bonds to address tax appeals, including one filed by the Federal Reserve.
The federal government took East Rutherford to court and won a reduction in the taxable value of its operations center – a large, windowless building off Route 17 South that is one of the borough’s biggest property-taxpayers.
