| NJ snow totals: Here’s how much powder has fallen across the state |
Wednesday’s snowstorm should be winding down in New Jersey by early afternoon, adding only small amounts to the snow that has already accumulated, forecasters said.
As expected, the heaviest snow totals have been reported in Sussex and Warren counties, where the temperatures were cold enough to support frozen precipitation Tuesday night through Wednesday morning.
Most of the eastern and southern sections of New Jersey were stuck with warmer air overnight, resulting in more rain than snow. Colder air is on the way Wednesday evening, with temperatures expected to drop into the teens overnight across most areas of the state.
