Garfield Gas Station Roof Ripped Off During Wind Storm

SEE IT: Violent winds rip roof from New Jersey gas station

A powerful gust of wind knocked the roof off of a gas station in New Jersey Thursday as a winter storm pummeled the East Coast.

Video shows the canopy wobbling before it collapses to the ground at a Delta gas station in Garfield, New Jersey.

Authorities said the structure above the gas pumps was old and needed repairs and that strong winds contributed to its collapse, northjersey.com reported.
