Facebook stalker who threatened girls, extorted nude photos convicted

A New Jersey man has been convicted of coercing a girl into sending him nude photos and stalking another girl he met on Facebook, authorities said.

Brandon McIntyre, 25, of Washington Borough in Warren County, was convicted Wednesday in Newark federal court of producing child pornography, online enticement of a minor to engage in criminal sexual conduct, extortion and stalking, the statement said.

McIntyre was arrested in 2014 and previously indicted on pornography and stalking charges.

McIntyre admitted to authorities that he had met several girls on Facebook, “sometimes as himself, other times pretending to be a teenage girl,” using the alias “Katie Thompson” in online chats with girls, the statement said.

He also admitted soliciting girls to send him nude images of themselves and then threatened to harm them and their loved ones if they refused.
