| Sparta Councilman Murphy Beats DWI |
Sparta Councilman Jerry Murphy who faced charges including driving while intoxicated, speeding and careless driving walked away from court today relatively unscathed. He pled guilty to a minor charge involving his license plate on Monday in the Hopatcong municipal court. The plea agreement came nearly two years after Murphy’s arrest for driving while intoxicated.
