Jersey City police arrested the alleged shooter on Thursday.
A pair of cousins were injured in a shooting Wednesday night in Jersey City’s Journal Square, authorities said.
Jersey City police responded to the area of Sip and Summit avenues around 11:30 p.m. and found a 20-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his right hand, city spokeswoman Kimberly Wallace-Scalcione said.
The victim, who was uncooperative with police, was taken to Jersey City Medical Center for treatment for the injury, which did not appear to be life-threatening, Wallace-Scalcione said.
