| New Jersey man accused of strangling woman in Dauphin County hotel |
A New Jersey man is facing charges for strangling a woman in a Dauphin County hotel, according to state police.
Jasjit Banga, 29, of Wharton, N.J., is accused of putting his hands around a 26-year-old Dover, N.J., woman’s neck and applying pressure to the point where she struggled to breathe after a verbal altercation turned physical at 9:40 p.m. Saturday in room 237 of Hampton Inn and Suites, 195 Hershey Road, South Hanover Township, state police said.
