Kenny Bachman, the Gloucester County man who was stuck with a $1,635 fare for a drunken Uber ride from West Virginia to New Jersey, has received a lifeline.
Eat Clean Bro, the Freehold-based meal delivery company, said Tuesday it will pay his fare and donate the $415 he raised through a Go Fund Me campaign to Mothers Against Drunk Driving.
“I don’t really drink,” Bachman, 21, of Washington Township, said. “For me to get that out of hand was abnormal.”
